NEW YORK, NY -- Legendary DJ/producer JUNIOR
VASQUEZ and his JVM label present a slammin' new take on the Sound
Factory classic "As
I Am." This uplifting track has been setting fire to Junior's
dance floor at SPIRIT, and now it's coming to you in advance of full
retail release. Originally recorded by Junior protigi Gladeez
(of "You Need
Somebody" fame), the new JVM version features sultry summer
vocals, superbly arranged and recorded by New York diva DEEPA SOUL.
Her seasoned pipes and stunning stage presence have been flooring
clubgoers ever since the 2001 release of her Billboard Dance/Club
Play smash "Nowhere Love."
Mixes for this project include JUNIOR's own killer
club version, a slammin' high-energy take by Latin sensation DJ
MIKE CRUZ (of Krash and "Movin' Up"
fame), and a hypnotizing deep-house journey guided by QUENTIN HARRIS
(Shelter resident and remixer for Britney Spears, Prince and others).
